Searching for Structure?
A beautiful space isn't about filling every corner—it's about understanding how each element works together.
I approach design through balance, scale, texture, repetition, contrast, and flow. Sometimes a room doesn't need more—it needs something moved, removed, layered, or given room to breathe.
BALANCE
Visual weight should feel intentional. A large sofa might need height beside it, while a busy wall may need simplicity somewhere else.
SCALE
The size of your furniture, art, rugs, lighting, and décor matters just as much as the pieces themselves. Proper scale can make even a small space feel complete.
TEXTURE + CONTRAST
Wood against greenery. Soft textiles against harder surfaces. Vintage beside modern. Layering contrasting elements creates depth without creating clutter.
FLOW
A room should make sense when you move through it. Thoughtful placement creates natural pathways while giving the eye somewhere to land.
Good design doesn't have to follow every rule. It just helps to know why you're breaking them.
